What does Avalon Metal Fabrication do?

We are a custom metal fabrication shop in Etobicoke serving industrial and commercial clients across Ontario, including automotive, lighting, displays, medical, and volume production. Laser cutting, forming, welding, hardware install, saw cutting, and tapping happen in-house, from single prototypes to production runs.

Do you take small orders or one-off parts?

Yes. We build one-off prototypes and small batches alongside production work. Small quantities are priced honestly for the setup involved, and we will tell you where a slightly larger batch would meaningfully lower your per-part cost.

What materials do you work with?

Cold rolled steel (CRS), hot rolled pickled and oiled (HR P&O), stainless steel 304 in 2B and #4 finishes, aluminum, and coated steels. Material is sourced through established suppliers, or you can supply your own.

What are your machine capacities?

6kW fiber laser cutting, a 220-ton press brake, MIG/TIG/spot welding, self-clinching hardware installation, saw cutting, and tapping. Ask at quote time if you need capacity details for a specific job.

What tolerances can you hold?

Laser-cut parts hold tight, repeatable tolerances straight from your CAD file; forming tolerances depend on material and geometry. If a tolerance on your drawing is not practical to fabricate, we raise it at quote time, not after the parts are made.

How do I get a quote, and how fast will I have it?

Send drawings or CAD files through the quote form, by email, or call us. Most quotes go out quickly. Complex assemblies may take a little longer, and we will tell you up front if so.

What files do you accept?

DXF and DWG are ideal for cutting and punching. STEP files and PDF drawings also work, and if you only have a sketch or a sample part, our engineering team can develop the drawing.

What are typical lead times?

Simple cut or formed parts typically ship in 1–2 weeks; fabricated and welded assemblies in 3–5 weeks depending on scope. Every quote includes a committed lead time, and we flag delays as soon as we see them.

Do you deliver, or do we pick up?

Both. We arrange freight across Ontario and Canada-wide, coordinate direct-to-site deliveries with contractors, and local customers are welcome to pick up at our Etobicoke dock.
