Press-Brake FormingBent to your angle.
Two Amada press brakes ranging from 35 to 150 tons deliver precise, repeatable bends on everything from light-gauge parts to 10-foot heavy plate.
WHAT IS IT
Forming bends flat blanks into flanges, channels, and brackets on NC press brakes, from light gauge up to heavy plate.
Three brakes from 35 to 150 tons and up to 10 feet of bed mean most shop drawings stay in-house instead of riding to another vendor.

When to form here
Sheared, lasered, or punched blanks move straight to the brake: same floor, same job tracking.
If a bend is impractical for the tonnage or tooling, we flag it at quote time with a practical alternative.

Setup, form, and validate
1 · SETUP
Set the brake
Tooling and back-gauge program are set from your drawing. First-article bends prove angle and flange length before the run.

In-house forming
Why keep the blank in-house
Form at Avalon
- Blank and bend on the same job ticket
- Three brake capacities for mixed gauges
- Issues caught before weld or ship
- One accountable lead time
Sending bends out
- Extra freight and handoff risk
- Harder to hold flange-to-weld relationships
- Split accountability when angles miss
- Usually only needed for exotic tonnage
Not sure if your part can be bent or how'd it be done? Let's talk about it.
